I have the same problem with my 5720. I normally have to turn the dang thing on up to 20 times before I get a screen instead of the blackness. Well I tried the simple suggestion of pressing down down on the area above the video card...

Can anybody point to me to a place where I can actual see the advantage of buying an AMD64 3200 over an AMD64 2800 or AMD64 3000?

Have you looked at the 5690? They are in the same price range but the 5690 appears to offer a little more. Also I have noticed that most peeps in this forum discuss the 4750, 8790, and 5690.

Did anybody else notice that if you buy a Dell lappy and you want 2 GB ram the upgrade is around $1400. Hell you could almost buy 2 Sagers for the cost of their lappy and the upgrade!

One of my observations in this forum (incidently I think I've learned more about hardware in the last two months of reading in these forums than previously in my entire life) is that the processor is rarely the bottleneck in a notebook....

Nice lookin case, it looks like the power brick should fit from the pics of the case when it is open with the 8790 in there - prob be tight though.
