Hello
When replacing a motherboard you need to first find your HP Part number
How to find your part number
Once you have found your part number you must find a online retailer that has your part in stock
DV7 Motherboards
Cheers!

Both will not boot the motherboards are the problem and the motherboards were sent to be fixed but came back still broken does any body have any ideas on how to fix them?
I need a website that i can get all motherboard schematics from in order to be able to repair motherboards does any body have any ideas where to get these from or do we have to call Each manufacturer directly?
I am 90% sure that your motherboard has just kicked the bucket we see alot of laptops that lightup and or fans spin but nothing happens. one thing to ask first does your laptop work on external display such as a external CRT or LCD Monitor?
Im thinking LCD Inverter however that might not be because it works in safe mode
whats the longest you have run it in safe mode without the back light kicking off?
