I have an M35x-S163 and the fan runs pretty much nonstop. It varies pitch/speed but it never stops. I've blown the heatsink clean of dust, is there any way to make the fan not run all the time? Any custom BIOS available?

Rather than starting a new thread I'll just bump this one. Same problem. I turn the laptop on, the fan spins up and then turns off, all the lights stay on and it gets nowhere further. Nothing comes on the screen. Dead motherboard?
Im looking to sell the laptop anyway and of course his sort of thing would happen now. I'm still debating if I should fix it or sell as is. Thanks for all the help.
