Hi, I have a 4750 and I just bought a new 160 gb external HDD. For each of the three USB ports I plug it into it tells me a USB 2.0 compatible device was plugged into a USB 1 thing and it can perform faster... So... does that mean...
77 sounds very high to me. I max out at around 60 degrees when I play Counter-Strike source. My computer's specs are in my signature. I would be worried if my notebook hit 77 degrees. Do you get any artifacts?
Regarding the laptop temperature you should search this forum (or maybe google) for "mobilemeter".
I played World of Warcraft stress test and closed beta a while back and didn't have any problems at all. I believe I was using the omega drivers from www.omegadrivers.net.
Are you sure the dvd-rom drive is fully plugged in? It shouldn't stick out because when I replaced my dvd-rom drive it took some effort to insert it fully.
It just might be because people on this forum look harder for dead pixels such as using a program and searching every inch of the screen for dead pixels using many different color backgrounds. I have several stuck pixels on my screen...
Its been working for 2 months already. I dont think this is a common shuttle problem.. i just got another power supply and im testing to see if thats actually the problem
i took it apart and thers no response at all.. im trying to get another power supply to test if thats the problem...also im having trouble figuring out how exactly i get this power supply off
