according to luke mcbride at pctorque the acer 1712 has been discontinued and they no longer sell it, does any one have more info, is this in preperation for the 1714..

i just spoke to acer and the guy i spoke to said it was not for sale.. so i dont know.. personally i am more concerned with the video card, as i am an architectural student and need it.. the memory is upgradable so im not so worried...
