Definitley go with the second and don't listen to all the people who say the 8400 can't run the newer games I have one and I can run bioshock at med settings with about 25-30 fps and about 40 at lowest settings.
But it can still run nearly all the old games at full settings while still getting very good framerates and some of the newer ones like bioshock at med to low settings with about 30fps. And its cheap.
The hp dv6500t would be your best bet its an ok gaming laptop and all those extra features your'e looking for can be easily added on.
I play games alot but how they look isnt very important i just care about whether or not theyll run stuff i play games like half life 2 WOW and wanna play crysis I dont care about much as long as they work ok. these are the two...
I don't know whatswrong it sounds like its vista but even i can get like 30fps even with my 8400m gt but it sounds like its vista especially since theyre suppose to be having lots of trouble with drivers and stuff in it.
5400rpm is all they have do you think it will still work
