Had this exact same problem around the similar timeframe as you. Sent it to Sager and had a new battery within a week of me sending it away which very fast turnaround.

Someone using my computer knicked the front of my computer and took a small slab of paint out of it that is noticeable. Is there an easy way to fill it in and if so anyone know the exact color to use on an 8890?
