Hi, Can you please tell me if there is a freeware game emulator that works with Mandrake 10.2 beta, XORG 10.2 and the latest ATI LINUX drivers. I wanna play on it UT2k4, CS:source and WOW.

If it is a dual channel 768 is slower in read times than 512. A 512 setup will have faster processing speed for a 512 mb task, but for a 768 task 768 is better
you may probably need a powerfull processor like a 2ghz dothan.

For encodind it would be a good ideea to buy an m675XL. Using 5400rpm, 1gb ram and a PENTIUM 4 processor should beat up the 7440gx, because p4s are better at encoding.
Thunder PC is right here, It is upgradeable but will be a pain in the ass and will void the warranty. And, i'm not sure if your mobo will boot with the new processor, because emachines may have locked it.

Try YOPER LINUX, it is decent to use and it is fast. But it is hard to remove the boot loader after you remove it, and also it is very easy to config. To make WLAN drivers work you can do the procedure someone mentioned above.
