Hmmm.. I have a failing 9860 myself, and I have been wondering what to do about it. I got mine through PCTorque, and my warranty was ATS, so I am just SOL on the warranty. Any advice? How long did each of the motherboards last? Russ

I eventually decided to go with a Zalman NC-1000, based on some previous posts. Hope it was a good decision. I already got hosed with a hot system in the Sager 9860, (AW 7700) and definitely don't want to go through that again... Russ

I looked on newegg and saw there are two types of 2.5" drives, ATA-6 and ATA-150. What's the difference? And which one will I need for my 9750? Thanks, Russ
