things to keep in mind. I am using the WSXGA screen not the WUXGA so it seems to consume less power. BTW the screen is awesome, perfect size. anything smaller would be tiny IMO. Second i have the 1.7 not 2.0. i am running the 7200rpm...
got 2hrs 50 mins on the 6 cell just browsing the web and running simple apps. Battery was cycled 2 times before using the method i do with my RC hobby LION batteries. I also have a 12 cell which i still need to cycle and test.
i dont want it set to maximum speed. i want speedstep to function irregardless of power status. On another note, i went in the Bios and there are some config settings for the speedstep so ill try messing with those.
nope sorry to disagree, but that is incorrect. the pentium m brocessor jumps back and forth between 600mhz and full speed as the cpu load changes irregardless of wether its on batery or not. all centrino notebooks do this.
