From what I've heard, there have been extensive shipping delays due to manufacturing problems of one of the parts. Any one part can delay your entire system.

Canada here: Takes about 1 business day to ship to the depot, couple of business days to "service" it, and another business day to ship it back. Sometimes I get it back in the same week. Sorry for your bad luck :P

whoa, good job bumping a 2 year old thread!! lol im on my WXGA i8600c now after having it sent to dell depots for repairs 4 times. still going strong with respect to the pics, ah i hadn't realized that i left the small bookmark...

yes.. it took them 4 times for them to fix my problem too. apparently it was the dvd/cd-rw combo drive.
