AVG... might be FREE... might not work as well as the other ones you pay for.. but it gets the job done. It constantly scans any new files that enter your system... and does full system scans without a problem. It has scheduled...
Just don't go messing around with the GPU and VRAM clock speeds.. and you should be fine. If you're really worried about the heat .. try lowering the clock speeds then. The Go5200 can play Doom 3 fine with LOW settings... character...

Welll. this is IMO.. I'd do all the updating first.. then install your programs. But it doesn't matter in which order you do them in.
