I am using the new 5.9 driver from ati as well with no problems on my 7405gx, Windows XP home SP2, Bios NS.00.02. Although, they did not work while I had Win 64 pro running, no 1280x800.

I'm curious as to where the ns.00.01 bios even came from. I mean I thought I had like the one of the fisrt 7405s that rolled off the assembly line and it had the ns.00.02 bios already.

Good Idea. They shouldnt disaprove especially if you lead them to believe that you might buy one.

I thought the colors in the Wizard of Oz were kind of crappy on my system and just as bad on broadcast tv as well. Its just poor colorization IMO. Certain movies I turn down the gamma a hair and the contrast up for a better picture.

There are 2 more little differences between the emachines and gateway. The all silver lid on the gateway (just looks better imho) and the supposed boosted up wireless ( I dont think anyone has gotten it to work at boosted speed yet...
