Nope. As long as you run a 32-Bit OS, you will not be affected by the 64-bit (lack of a) HCL. Precision M6300 is what he ment, the M90 has been replaced.
Unless you are installing linux, go with one partition. Installing the HDD is as simple as replacing a few screws. Installing Windows is also simple. Vista more so than XP.

Go to RadioShack: *Buy a standard S-Video cable. (And get a S-Video to RCA converter if you need to) *Buy a Y-audio splitter. On one end it's the 3.5", and on the other end it's two RCA's.
