Thanks everyone. I guess I'll be waiting a little bit longer. I don't care about the extreme upper end of the video spectrum, but I would like to see a nice 512mb "8700" series in a 14 inch notebook. Oh, here's something...
Hello everyone. I've been browsing over the new and upcoming Asus models for a replacement for my W3V and I see what look to be some great upcoming models. The only thing I've noticed that they lack is a Direct X 10 GPU. With Vista...
I agree. However, I have to say that I love the metal color of the 17" gaming notebook. If they did the W3 in that color (lid, entire palmrest etc...) and added some ports, it would be excellent.
I would LOVE to see the specs on those gaming laptops! They look very, very nice... classier aesthetics then other gaming laptops out there. However, I wonder why all of them have the same boring hinges? Likewise for the V1 I wish...
Hey guys. After reading that one post about the upcoming W2p and all the various improvments made in that model (HD-DVD drive, new video card, Core 2 / Merom ) I was wondering if the rest of the W series would be getting the same kind...

Hey guys. I'm going to be in the market for a new ASUS pretty soon, preferably a Merom. I currently have a W3V,and admit I'm totally addicted to the pretty Here's more or less what I'm looking for... Pretty! Think W3V/J, W2J...
Does the A8Jm actually have 512mb of dedicated memory? Or is it 256+256 shared when needed? If so, I think the W3J does the same thing, except its an ATI card.
It is my understanding that Merom cores will debut around july-september. I would imagine Asus would provide some fairly quick refreshes as soon as they physically (not paper) launch.
