If they cant even get the 8800 sorted out, what hope is there for a 9 series card in a lappy? Will gaming on laptops even continue with the desktops, or will we all be doomed to carry around backpacks full of psu's and cooling devices?

Vsync didnt actually fix it, it would go for a while then do the fast thing again. I played around with it (for a long while) and figured out it was the dual core CPU's. The game wasnt built for them so it decided to go in hyper mode,...

I only use it to monitor temps and I dont OC anything. It seems high though that it would sit at around 50 - 60 just when watching a dvd etc.
