I upgraded the video card in my E1705 a while back to a 512mb card (I forget which Nvidia one). Now, my laptop locks up during boot-up and I get a lot of artifacts on the screen.
It looks a lot like the other posts/pictures I've seen...

Well, good news...
Idle temps are now around 68!
I'll test the game soon :-)
edit: Well, the game gets the gpu to climb up to 91-92 at the main menu (again...no animations!).
I think I'll have to disassemble it.
