I upgraded my Toshiba P105-S9722 to 4GB of ram. I now have two factory 1GB each cards for sale PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM. I will sell both for $75 shipped.
Tyan motherboard only used for a couple of months. The roll of the hardware was changed and a PCI-E X16 slot was needed. Board works great. Payments with paypal or check or local pickup in bay area CA. $125
My last laptop was a toshiba 2805 and I had trouble capturing video with the firewire port. Every other computer I did it on worked flawlessly. I would have Dell exchange it.
Very cool. I think tablets have a large nitch to fill in the industry. With the speech recognition software advancing as it has they may sewe increasing sales for a pc that lacks a keyboard.
What is everyone using for a hardware monitor? I have a p105-s9722.
It is extremely easy to replace. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and the recovery CD. Make sure you get a good replacement and not the cheapest one out there. You will be rewarded.
If you have a fingerprint scanner on it then upgrade to the 5.4V software. I had this issue from day one and all I can say is VERY ANNOYING. Made the upgrade and haven't had a problem.
You have the same computer as me p105-s9722, the only difference is the operating system. Look up that system on the toshiba website and you will find all the right drivers.
The first thing that a I would do is get rid of the 4200rpm hard drive. I recently upgraded mine to a 7200rpm 160GB seagate and love it. It runs like a real computer now. I used EZ Gig II to clone the drive, worked great.
Check the manufacturers website with the model #.
