1) Yes, I currently own an SSD. Will plan on buying a few more in the next few months. 2) I''m considering Intel, but other brands are okay as well if the price is right. 3) I purchase the new PC every 3-4 months.
For those that have this particular model, do you notice that the screen contrast isn't too good? I notice that the screen is too bright and blurry, even after changing the brightness control.
Check the Acer driver download site. Make sure to read the info on the download page. They explain which drivers are for XP and Vista. Just make sure you get the ones for XP.
Hmm, 20" laptop? What are you guys using that for? I would rather get a smaller screen laptop and an external 20" LCD screen.
For personal use that Acer would be fine. I would highly recommend 2gb of ram since Vista can be slow with 1 GB. If you plan on playing new 3D games, then a laptop with dedicated video card would be better.
I hate using the AET. I uninstalled it immediately after I got my Acer. Better yet, re-install Vista and just install what you want. I recently did that and the performance was very noticeable.
I don't think that is a good price for a laptop, especially the cpu (Sempron). For that price I think it's better for you to go to Staples and buy a laptop with some kind of dual core cpu. Plus they also offer a free printer after rebate.
There should be drivers at the Acer site. http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acerdr...TOKEN=10991459 Just select notebook on the left, Aspire 9410 for the middle, then Intel VGA driver v7.14.10.1132
Has anyone tried to install a bluetooth module into an Aspire 9410? I just wanted to know if it's easy to install. Thanks
