My T40 LCD replacement went well.. or at least I am writing this on it. My advice is 1) be very careful with the screws. They are easy to loose especially when you are replacing them, they drop. I actually may have lost one somewhere...

I am curious how the above poster made out? My dog dragged my t40 off a desk and around the apartment thus rendering the LCD barely usable (I have, however used it for the last 16 months). I finally bought a replacement on ebay and now...
