As long as the drive has the right connection and form factor, that should be the only limitation as long as you have updated BIOS (only for the off-chance that it was not originally compatible but an update made it so).

Yeah I thought they only came with 32-bit as well, unless I misunderstand what I've reading of the F50's specs.
Looking at an F50, but it seems from readings reviews of it that it only comes with 32-bit Vista. Can I reinstall a 64-bit version or do I just have to go buy a 64-bit copy of Vista? If it matters, I have 64-bit installed on my desktop...
My point exactly -- that even if I tack on an additional year to the Asus standard 2-year warranty, that would set me back about $150. Now if the Asus only came with a one year warranty, the $300 would be a good deal for the 3-year...
