Are you nuts? If there is the slightest thing different on the motherboard it won't even boot. Remember there is the beginning bootstrap of the bios that doesn't get flashed. But relying on that to bring you back from the dead isn't good...

The thread fn+z isn't bad for aiding in temp woes. Be sure to use AS5 and cleaned heatsinks obviously as well.

Make sure you have the latest bios!! It probably won't work without a bios at least the year of this technology. yay locked out bioses not like desktops at all!!!!!
