You may want to check if you have stuff (dust) stuck in your fan vents; that'll trap heat and add to heat build-up in a jiffy.

From Dell? i6000, M70, D810 are the replacements for the i8600, M60, and D800, respectively... or did you mean non-Dell computers?

Why are you selling your M70? And I find it hard to believe that the M70 would sell that well... I feel left out with my M60. I don't know of anyone else who has an M60. (At my school anyhow)
