Usually, the video drivers should take care of the issue with multiple monitors and LCD resolution. If you've installed the video drivers, you should be okay. Unless I didn't quite interpret your question correctly?

You guys are lucky! My temps hit 70 before undervolting; now they are at 52/53 if I'm using the full gammit of Word, Firefox, and Gaim. This is after calling Dell and getting a new heat sink and 755 proc.
