I've saved about 1100 dollars for a computer [and i can barely hit 1200]. could you help me configure an Alienware desktop? no preference on processors, but i'm gonna be using this for gaming and some mad applications.

Rather than waiting on backorder for a 6800 Ultra or whatever, why don't you just get the worst card (Radeon 9600xt?) and buy the 6800 Ultra sepereately from the web or a store, and put it in when it comes 20 something days earlier..?
