are there really that many adavantages to widescreen besides multimedia purposes? or is it basically preference over square screens. i know dumb post but i want to see what u people think of widescreen laptops.

i was looking at the ferrari till i checked out the 2025 aspire. the ferrari is excellent but i wanted wide screen and more battery life.

any good suggestions? i want a bookbag one for college that is a monstrosity. it needs to hold a 15.4inch widescreen (acer aspire 2025). also what accessories should i purchase besides a lock? thanx for the help.
