Funny, I just installed this yesterday. Not like I was having any problems with 1.8, but the fact that a bunch of extra cruft has been removed is always good.
I just installed this yesterday, haven't seen it drop a connection yet. Here's hoping it stays good.
I've rebuilt 5 Sony VAIO battery packs. While the Sony packs cost $200-300 the bare cells only cost about $70 (6-8 cells). The other advantage of rebuilding your packs is that you can use newer cells that have higher capacities than were...
Yawn... This is a spec for what fuel cells *should* do, but it doesn't bear any relation to reality, i.e., what fuel cells *can* do today. It's only a wish list and a set of guidelines.
Well, that AtomChip memory sounded great. Especially with their selling price of only $10/GB, if they could have met the demand they could easily put every other memory manufacturer out of business. But it looks like they've raised their...
Something just doesn't add up. Even with Physical Address Extension, a Pentium can only address a 36 bit physical memory space, which is 64GB. So unless they have a bank switching driver for their machine, there's no way that a 1TB main...

OK, so I've got my system undervolted with CHC, working great at 600MHz@0.700V. Is there any way to go lower? I can use clockgen cg-ics952618 to adjust the FSB, but the lowest speed is 100MHz, which is the stock speed. So, this program...
Ah right, smaller modules can work with faster CAS latencies. I have 2x1GB modules in my machine, 512MB modules are too small :P But 1GB modules are definitely slower than 512MB modules...
