Sorry I can't answer your question. I did see the insides on some web sites, forgot which ones. I know it might not be what you want to hear but it probably cheaper and easier to sell your lappy and buy the one you want.

I have to second PCLinuxOS . It rocks and was always my favorite. I am now using SAM linux which is an xfce based fork of PCLinuxOS. Elive ok and Sabayon nice too.

I'm now using SAM linux based on pclinuxos using xfce4.4 and really like it . My comp is midrange and doesn't need a stripped down distro but I'm likin this one! PCLinuxOS has always been my favorite.

Final to be released soon but beta rockin with new look and beryl etc. Give it a try!
