So far so good... Upgrade was a wheeze so far, only bug seen so far is with the Software centre which seems to keep crashing on me, but didn't on the system i did a fresh install with.
You just need a small phillips screw driver. Acer doesn't use any other type of screw, unlees the laptop has been split apart before and the tech has used the wrong screws...

A) Powering it yup without a battery installed
B) Powering it up with no hard drive installed
C) Powering it up with 1 stick of RAM
D) Removing the AC and battery then holding the Power Button down for thirty seconds

Another Linux flavor, ie Ubuntu, SUSE etc...

Well an Ubuntu update... It seems to have stabilized now (fingers crossed).. Made the move over to windows 8, a far more polished affair, but still been dabbling with 12.10. Changed the motherboard and it has sped the boot times up....
