Depends on how much you are going to spend on the Air, or the Pro... The 13" air is faster than the 11" air, but not by much. The CPU speed on both is slower.. The Pro has a range of screen from 13.3" and above, plus a range of i5 or i7 cpus's starting at 2.3ghz i5... My view, if you upgrade and are not a traveller, get a pro, but get as much as you can (obviously) for the old pro... If you tend to travel a lot, the Air will do....

I would do a Lion write up, but I don't have enough experience with it yet... (It is going to be trouble finding time....).

Done the review... I did compare them all and yes the Pro is a bit heavier, but does have the DVDRW and a HD camera. Price wasn't the issue, but usability was. For a Traveller, I would go with the Air, but these days comparing it to a decent net book, Ipad/Tablet, I don't know if its worth it.... http://www.notebookforums.com/products/apple-macbook-pro-mc700ll-a-13-3-inch-laptop/reviews/5101

I just got a pro, I was looking at the Airs, but no ROM drive = a pain in the arse to do the things I need to do... Got a free upgrade at the store to LION and it is sooo good, only beaten by Ubuntu due to Ubuntu being free (in the long term)... The great thing about it is, like the Ipod touch, Ipad and Iphones, it is app driven makes it soo easy... Plus the keystrokes on the touchpad are like using the ipad et al... I have yet to have a full play.....

A really good 'must have' piece of software... Put it on a pen drive, very handy... I just wish they wouldn't update it so much.....

I will try and do that when I am back off holiday... Same as with the Gateway that runs puppy fine, but fails on video for every other operating system... (I must admit I was very happy that it works and didn't think...!!!!)
