that card (8600 GT) will handle nearly all new games, just some of the high end new games will run sligtly less detailed but should work properly. i have just ordered the xps 1530. *fingers crossed*

hey, i am considering buying this laptop (hp pavillion dv6573) too. it looks like a pretty good setup for the price. the graphics-(intel graphics media accelerator x3100) is it pretty decent for gaming/graphics work?
