How do you run down your GATEWAY notebook computer specs & get Gateway supplied drivers?
First, you need the model #, as in, Mx8738 or ML3109, etc. . . this must be exact.
Then go to Gateway support...
the memory type is ok, just MB does not support 4gig.

I looked around Gateway a bit. some of the solo9500 had a combined modem/nic, don't know exactly what you have. anyway there was mention of a bios update needed for NT to use the nic.
did not find specifics as to drivers.
will know about 2G v 4G later today when my 2x2g gets in. . . guess it depends on CPU & you must have a 64bit cpu to see/use over 2G.
