Nah, they're not illegal, especially bittorrent. lol Steam was based in part off of Bittorrent. I usually end up searching google. I used Shareaza to get linux distro's, and still use them for large things like game demos. Shareaza...

or u can get a USB sound card, like the SB Audigy 2 ZS. It's a beast.
