I plugged in an external keyboard and all the keys worked fine so it was a hardware problem after all. I disconnected the laptop keyboard, cleaned the terminals on the ribbon cable, reconnected and all ok now. Cheers

I have an almost identical problem but with the space bar and r, v keys. I had it on the same laptop about 12 months ago and cured it using a Registry fix application from PC Tools. The same problem has now reoccurred but i can't seem to...
