Just some updates... I have downgraded to the dell driver 94.something ... And the overheating stopped... WTF ?? When running ATITool before it was reaching 104c and the note would turn off, now with the dell driver it reaches the same...
yes i did.. no effect - the lights are off
Ok guys, i just finished reassembling the note back... I cleaned all the vents, removed all the dust, changed the thermal grease on the cpu and the gpu to AS5. Guess what ? NOTHING CHANGED!! The temp reaches 102-105 and the machine...
Sorry guys, my bad.... it's was just a matter of enabling those functions in the options menu of the program
Well i've tried that, it didn't work, it doesn't change the fans speed in any way. Also,i was asking why doesn't it read the tempratures from the GPU
Any idea why can't i control the fans or read the gpu temp (and all the rest for that matter) ? I am using the latest bios btw...
Damn it!! I haven't opened the note and cleaned it because i am waiting for my AS5 order and i prefer to open it once to clean and replace the thermal grease Since i saw the problem with crysis i stopped playing it and decided to play...
I am running on 169.04 with my GTX 7950, i just d/lded ATITool and changed the frequency clocks... ATI Shows that the clock has changed and i see the temp going up... So, i don't need to flash the bios ? Or what am i missing ?
@Andy4876 The LCDs and the Plasma TVs of today are known to display the cable tv (unless u have a HD signal) worse than the normal TV sets. The thing is that the old TVs had a very low resolution and you actually saw the same signal but...
