Okay RAID is working flawlessly now, and also if anybody has an issue with their optical drive... try using something like this, it fixed mine so it's worth a try!

I had a problem with black screens a while back, the way I ended up fixing it was I uninstalled the video drivers + swept them (with Driver Sweeper), then installed the Beta 197.84 Drivers from Dell's site.

I believe A05, and I had to revert my drivers back to the old dell beta ones. The dreaded random black screen came back.
