I'm pretty sure the QX9300 will work in a M17, but not the old M17x. However, with the M17 I think you can upgrade to SLI 4850's.

I was just playing COD4 at 1920x1200 4xAA and 16xAF and getting around 180FPS I will start putting up benchmarks (Crysis, COD4, COD5, etc) soon. These things are 10000x times better than my old 8700M SLI. Worth the 2 months of...

I fixed it by removing the battery and power cord for 10 seconds. I also disabled the 9400M because it was making Crysis lag. It now runs at 1920x1200 in Very High at about 25-45 FPS.
