Hey all, I was going to get an AW laptop for uni, to save my lugging a desktop to and from uni.. but I decided it was cheaper to build a second tower, to just live there... I have everything worked out, from motherboard to hard...

Well people generally dont rant about good. If you went and asked all the people who bought alienwares, im sure you'd get many good responses - maybe if they opened a "feedback" forum, so people could just post up there AW...

Gawd damnit! Oh well.. no loss I guess - will just have to remember to plug it into the AC adapter when I'm not using it

I have an iPod and am wondering if the firewire port on the a51m is powered, allowing me to charge through the port, instead of having to use the AC adaptor? Thanks for ya help.

The Icybox has better connections for what I want - its got USB2 for use with the laptop, and some other connector you can plug right into the tower... let me see if I can find the...
