this is a stupid question, but is there a certain amount of discs a DVD or CD drive can read or burn before dying out? I ask because, I received my PC in October of 2004 and the DVD drive died out by January, meaning it couldn't read...

nope it didn't help. help and support isn't even listed in the list.

Everytime I click the Help & Support it states that it cannot find helpctr.exe, then I fixed it. Now when I click on Help & Support it states that it could not load because a system service is not running. What can I do to fix this?
