Haven't looked with a flashlight, but can say without a doubt that it's not running at 75 degrees. You would definitley be able to feel it, and when I'm rendering the proc fan's kick in a seem to work, but I'll get a flashlight and look.

Alright I think there might be something wrong with the sensor possibly, speed fan tells my the proc is running at 75c also. Very wierd...... In the config I an offset option, but I have no idea what to put the offset value to.

I just downloaded mobometer. I've downloaded it before and it keeps doing this, it says the cpu is at 75c, which is impossible becasue I'm not doing anything with it and 75c is really hot and I know that most processors won't run at 75c....

In my opinion better safe then sorry. I got the 3 year warrenty just in case, when your spending this kind of money a warrenty is really worth it in my opinion.

I know with my 5500 MJ12, the benchmarks were faster then the M60, but not sure about the 7700. But me I would with AW, since it doens't use the Pentium M chip, In my opinion if your looking for a machine like this portablity isn't high...

As far as the difference in the MJ12 and the Area51m, the main difference is the MJ12 comes standard with the Quadro go1000 with the option to get the other vdieo cards. With the Area51m the only choice is the 9700 and the 5700 nvidia....

Ok have a small problem if you can even call it a problem, but it's annoying. The left touchpad button is kind of stuck down, but it still works, but doesn't make a "click". Didn't really notice when or how exactly it happened....
