erm i guess my netgear router is just queer. it works with my college wireless network. yay.

i hav a toshiba tecra m2-s730 and am experiencing some problems with the wireless wen i'm on battery power. i hav a netgear 802.11b router, and the wireless works perfectly with it (speed:11.0mbps, signal strength: excellent/verygood)...

i don't know if this is the case with the s series, but with the v505 i had heard people say that sony will send you recovery CD's if you call and ask (for a charge of course -___-;; )
