Friends, As I got Viista Ultimate with my new XPS 1330 I am trying to decide on whether I use Media Centre to watch DVD's or Dell's Media Direct? Any advantages or disadvantages? Sound/picture etc. Cheers.

Friends, Does anybody know when 800Mhz memory will be released by Dell for their notebooks?

Don't know when it will be available in the states but in AUstralia you can now configure it with the Penryn chip.

I see the XPS1330 is now shipping with the T9300 2.5Ghz 6MB cache processor. On Dell.com.au anyway. However it is not on the 1530?

Seems Dell told me a fib. I have returned the notebook for a refund. He stll states that the LED is coming out soon; he just needed more time to sort me out. I did not want to wait.

I bought it within the 15 day Total Satisfaction Guarantee, thus I can return the notebook for a refund. That is when I found out about L.E.D backlighting for this particular model.

Friends, I have confirmation that the XPS1530 will ship with W L.E.D backlight up to 1680 x 1050 resolutions. I just received an XPS 1530 with the CCFL backlight and called Dell to return it as it is no way as bright as my MacBook...
