According to this, a CPU upgrade doesn't void your warrenty, but it is dated 2006. http://www.notebookforums.com/showth...=dell+warranty. Not sure about other upgrades.

Whats the best CPU to upgrade my E1705, running vista 32bit? It currently has a T5600, and am looking possibly at a T2700, would this be a worth while investment or would a T7600 be better? Thanks
