I agree with the above poster. The 4700 packs a much more powerful punch with the option to upgrade the video card later and comes with oddles of goodies. Much better than the 3000 deal.

I would never again own a notebook that didnt have at least WSXGA but thats just me.

I have the Go5200 card. Dell is sending me a box to ship it to get repaired, they said they are going to replace the LCD screen. Seems like they already know what needs to be done.

Our 8600 just started to act up recently, the display flickers off and on semi rapidly and we have to hard kill the notebook to shut it down, if were lucky it sometimes boots to Windows without the flickering but then theres artifacts...

I bought mine from newegg.com but I regret it, I can't tell the differece at all between the 5400 and new 7200 drive. Wished I had spent the money towards an ATI card instead actaully but it's just my opinion.
