I would say go with the 8800GTX's and 2.2GHZ proc. This is mainly because its easier to upgrade processors than it is to upgrade graphics cards. I do agree though that the 2.2GHZ proc will bottleneck the hell out of the 8800GTX's.

I will second the Logitech VX option for a mouse. Trackballs are nice to use with CAD design and programs of this degree, but I wont recommend it for gaming.
Great review, I've been wondering how the 8800m GTS would perform IRL programs. Going to have to find one now
