Thanks for the links! A little too pricey per gig for now; looks like I'll have to wait for a bit.
I'm running out of space of my 60gig 7200 drive, and I'd like to replace it to a higher capacity drive. How big are laptop hard drives now? If I stepped down to 5400 rpm would I notice much of a difference?

My Uniwill feels very solid overall. From a product design perspective, it is the best looking AMD 64 notebook out there, period, and that's a selling point in itself.
As far as I can tell, the CPU runs at full speed, but Windows is just displaying the incorrent speed. From the ABS support topic: Quote: Hello Brad, The windows XP will only show 798MHz only.---this it's windows bug...
It's working. ABS (see link above) said that it's a bug with windows. Right clicking my computer and viewing its properties will always show the 798MHz speed. The AMD Dashbord displays the correct speed.
I have the same problem. Check out this topic: http://www.abspc.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=831 Unfortunately, the patch didn't seem to work for me. I'm waiting for a reply there.
What software will you be using? For raw number crunching (compressing files and such), I believe the P4's are the fastest. Get as much RAM as your wallet allows.

Thanks. I was set on the 7200 until Abbas's remark, which makes sense, theoretically. 7200 it is.
