One other thing I noticed on my 8890 is, if you have NAV 2003 and MSN Messanger 6 running, it will drop games (beause it's pinging messanger to see if it is active). Just disable the "scan messaging" in NAV.

Just to let everyone know, the Microsoft fix worked for the USB. As for the IE, working with Firebird is fine, so I have to assume that the problem is in IE. I will uninstall it and reinstall a clean version to see if that clears up...

Would going for a slower processor make sense to make your money go further? The 3.2Ghz CPU and 3Ghz have a premium price over the 2.8Ghz it's an ~$155 on each whereas the 2.6Ghz to 2.8Ghz is $75. Does this make sense?
