the second one all the way..intel processors tend to run MUCH cooler and are more powerful and well, will keep its value.. amd is similar but, NOT the same as an intel, thus the price difference..if it were the same or better, WE would...
thaat baby is a classic and after three years, still going strong...wow
worth the wait...and i will be on one!
working fine on mine except the blasted bluetooth but i just disabled it since i don't use it..lol
acer cs, sucks...compaq is pretty good in quality at their price point though they won't use the best hardware and well ibm, while plain looking, simply works and works.. i say ibm!
I agree with the above..the intel wi-fi manager WILL conflict with the built in windows application or dell's utility..i have replaced ALL my wi-fi cards with intel and installed their utility and let her run..
you can do xp on it..but, i would run winaudit first, print it out then try and find XP drives for your hardware and if you can, you will be fine..
driver heaven, i think is the name (do a google search)..they require an email to register but, will send you a link to access all of the drivers out there for most pieces of hardware..it is a great site.
incredible..trying to "copy" some of mac's cool capability..backfired! vista is slow, cumbersome and makes me laugh..lol
i like the asus g1 series or even the older dells, with custom cards...they are great vehicles to use for customization
