I agree with zzpulp. As a programmer I am sure we can hexedit the bios or something to that effect to make sure the LCD controls on the 3600M get read by the E1705. Add the fact that you can add the string in the bios for the detection...

anyone got a 3600M for sale? Just upgraded to the latest bios A10 for my E1705. I love this machine and I am hoping to get is maxed out as much as possible.

What about flashing the bios for the sole purpose of using a nextgen video card?

Well i figure you gotta get gravity to play it's part and work it on both sides. This way the ram on the other side gets to settle in place also. I figured if you do that then the connections will last longer. Also has anyone tries...

pre heat an oven for 10mins at 375. Strip down the card to nothing then bake i at 375 Farenheit on a flat piece of cardboard. for 6 mins GPU side up then flip it over in the oven for another 3 on the other side and then flip it back....
