I have a SATA hard drive and im pretty sure i need the raid drivers even though i dont have two hard drives in raid since its SATA. In the BIOS its always been switched to RAID instead of ATA for the last 2 years i've been using it.

Well it must have loaded the driver i needed then since it never rejected any of the driver versions i tried (or at least showed that the drivers were rejected).
